About Toto Africa
Toto Afrika is a registered NGO which is currently based in Mombasa, Kenya, our main purpose is to develop the African child holistically; That is mentally, physically, socially, spiritual and emotionally giving them an opportunity in the world today.
The rising tide of HIV/AIDS, which has continuously purged the economically active population in the country, has left behind a generation of parentless and helpless children and eroded the tradition of Orphan care being seen as a social obligation.
Orphans have outgrown the carrying capacity of the extended family and any interventions now require a community-based response. since the “safety net” {extended family} is full of holes due to many orphans left behind after the demise of their parents due to illness and also the poor economic state most extended family are in.
